Kudos for the contemplative approach you brought to your initial aversion to the place. I liked the black & white shots more, too. I wonder if it's because i know a little bit about Birmingham's Industrial Revolution past, and what i think of as its somewhat Brutalist architecture. So the gray palette seems evocative of that history. But then, Berlin has Brutalist vibes too, but those buildings look fine in colour. Do you agree and why would that be so?
